Job Description:
A company is looking for a Copy Editor (contract).
Key Responsibilities
Ensure stories adhere to the company's style guide and tone
Proofread text for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors
Fact-check original reporting and verify factual correctness of
information
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in copy editing and/or fact-checking at a
news or media publication, preferably with a financial focus
Experience working with reporters and editors in the B2B space
Ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines
Fluency with online publishing and organizational tools
An understanding of the importance of language
